( votes)Harbury Fields Farm and Caravan Site is an “affiliate” site to the Caravan Club. Located just a few miles from Warwick, Leamington Spa, Banbury and even the NEC are also within easy reach whilst the village of Harbury, with a small supermarket and a selection of pubs is just over a mile from the site. Harbury Fields is a working farm of approximately 200 acres, so don’t be surprised to see a number of sheep around the outside perimeter of the camping area.
Upon arrival, I was given a useful (three page) information sheet about the site, containing information about such items as recycling, bus routes, ampage of the hook up posts and also details of the site and the local village.
Most of the pitches are hard standing, formed of a gravel bed. I did note one pitch in particular appeared of a very generous size in terms of length, and this could potentially take an RV.
Each pitch is numbered and the majority are hard standing with electric hook up, supplied at 16 amps.
The shower block was toasty warm.

I will add that the water pressure in the shower was good, the hot water supply never-ending and even on a very cold night, the shower block was lovely and toasty. Also worthy of a mention, the shower cubicles are probably the largest I have ever seen on a UK campsite!
Harbury Fields is a fairly unique caravan site in so far as it sits in the middle of a working farm.
There are pleasant views all around. The access road to the site is narrow. However, there are passing places and there is always a clear view ahead. As a result, there should be no access issues.
It is worth taking a torch, particularly if you have a dog and need to use the dog walk area in the hours of darkness!
On the downside, there was a £1.50 handling fee if you paid by credit card. The site has a flat rate for “single occupancy” of £15 per night throughout the year. This makes Harbury Fields more expensive than many sites for the single traveller.
