( votes)One of the motorhomers within our “convoy” was travelling with his dog. Unfortunately, International Camping where we spent the night do not allow guests with dogs to stay at the site. Consequently, our friends spent the night at the Motorhome parking Locarno, Switzerland. Just 15 minutes or so driving time from the A2 motorway, the motorhome parking area at Locarno makes a sensible stop over. However, the facilities are none, and the price is fifteen euro per night. That said, compared to campsites in the area, fifteen euro is a bargain, given the location.

On the plus side, the aire is very close to the lake. The parking area is signposted in Locarno, but the address is Via Alla Lanca Degli Stornazzi, 6600 Locarno. This website provides more information about the local area.
