En route to Cleethorpes or Skegness for the weekend, who knows, but feeling hungry, we arrive at The Haven Inn, not only for a meal but a quiet night stop too! This pub-cum-restaurant-cum inn is a delight to visit with a dog friendly bar area to one side and a more formal restaurant to the other. There is also a large conservatory, perfect for a morning coffee! We chose to dine in the restaurant, leaving Reggie in the motorhome. An excellent choice of food and good value for money, more so considering the generous portion sizes.
Not being in a rush to get anywhere on Saturday morning, we then took delight in enjoying a full English breakfast. The breakfasts at The Haven Inn will not disappoint and will “set you up for the day”.
Dog walking is a plenty and in no time at all, you are on the banks of the Humber and can talk towards New Holland or Barton upon Humber.
Being a pub stopver, there are no facilities available other than a good, solid hard stand. However, for those in smaller camper vans without showers etc, then you are able to use a wet room when the pub is open, for a small fee.
Further details of the Haven Inn can be found by clicking here. If pub stops are not your thing, then just a couple of miles up the road at nearby New Holland, you may wish to stay at Marshlands Alpacas and Camping site.
