The Trawlerman Cleethorpes is a pub stopover just a few minutes walk from the beach and Humberstone Fitties. Typical of many pub-stops, there are no facilities other than a hard stand parking area. There are of course toilets when the pub is open. Being a “Marstons” pub, there’s a good selection of food and drink available throughout the day. In high season, an excellent buffet breakfast is available.
Within a short walk, there are local shops, a fish ‘n’ chip shop and a chinese takeaway, although this would of course go against the ethos of free pub stops. In other words, stay there and eat there.
The seafront is a ten minute stroll, if that. The sea front walk will take you to Cleethorpes pier and the town centre. Buses are a plenty to Grimsby and Cleethorpes with the bus stop being adjacent to the pub
Details of the Trawlerman Cleethorpes can be found on the Marston’s website. If pub stops are not your “thing”, then there is the Showground Caravan site which is also convenient for the beach and Cleethorpes.
