The Welcome Inn Skegness is one of an ever growing number of pubs and restuarants that permit motorhome and campervan stop overs. This pub is just over a mile from Skegness seafront and town centre. Within a short walking distance, there is a small retail park with branches of M&S Simply Food, Aldi and B&M Stores.
The parking area is on grass and is of a generous size. Vehicles of any size can be accomodated but note that this is on grass. It might be worth bearing in mind in wet weather.
We first visited the Welcome Inn on foot, post Covid, at a time when outdoor eating and drinking was permitted. Numerous wooden shelters were built and these are still present, with a table for eating and also with fitted lighting. At weekends, there is a bouncy castle and an inflatable slide.
Food at The Welcome Inn Skegness is great value for money and comes in generous size portions. As you expect, there is a good selection of drinks and offers on “shots!”
Whilst there is plenty of space, it is worth calling ahead to book. Contact details and further information can be found by clicking on this link. At the time of writing, there is no charge for a stop over but of course, it is customary to wine and dine at the pub.
If pub stopovers are not your thing, then Roach Farm campsite is nearby as an alternative.
