The small east coast town of Hornsea is home to the Victoria Inn. The Victoria Inn Hornsea is one of an ever increasing number of pubs and restaurants offering motorhome and campervan stopovers. We put this to the test and feel that both the Victoria Inn and the town itself are well worthy of a (second) visit!
The car park is at the rear of the pub. As a result, there is no traffic noise. Furthermore, opposite the car park, there is an open green space which is ideal for a quick morning walk for dogs. Remember too that the Victoria Inn is itself “dog friendly”.
Our Eura mobil 810 Integra is 8.25 metres long, around 27 feet and this fit nicely into the parking area.
Eating and drinking at the Victoria Inn Hornsea
Food here is very nice, very nice indeed! In our opinion, food is of a good quality, a good portion size and good value for money. Beer is at sensible prices. Service from all staff/managers, excellent.
Parking spaces are quite limited so it woud be advisable to contact the pub to make a booking and reserve a spot.
Noteworthy of a mention, there is live entertainment at the pub from time to time and full details can be found on this page.
There’s more to Hornsea than meets the eye. During our stay there was a firework display and a carnival taking place! It’s a pleasant twenuty minute walk to the seafront where you will find a couple of amusement arcades and some pleasant walking. Within Hornsea town centre, there are enough shops to meet most needs, including a Coop supermarket if you need to top up with supplies. There are regular bus services to Hull, Beverley and Bridlington. Speaking of Brid, that’s our next motorhome pub stop over, read about it here!
