A relatively small site with around twenty touring pitches, Roach Farm Park is part of Coastfields Leisure Ltd, a group with several touring and static sites on the East Coast. There are static caravans/holiday home on the same site, but the touring pitches and static pitches are in separate areas of the park. Owners of larger motorhomes should note that hardstand pitch length is eight metres. There is a possibility to pitch behind the reception area with even the largest unit but note this is not a pitch as such. The photograph below shows the Kontiki in this area.
The onsite facilities are as you would expect in this modern day of camping and caravanning!
- Toilet/shower block
- Chemical disposal point
- Some grass pitches, some hard stand pitches
- Electric hook up at 16 amps
- Security barrier – key fob operated
- Pleasant dog walk alongside the site
We are not aware of a dedicated motorhome service point, but on a site with so few touring pitches, this is quite common. We simply make use of our Aquamaster waste water trolley.
It is possible to enjoy fishing whilst on site – full details here. Noteworthy of a mention, some pitches are adjacent to or overlook the fishing lakes.
it’s around a thirty minute stroll to Skegness Town centre, or there are regular bus services.
Roach Farm Park – how to book
Generally speaking, we book our next trip whilst on site. However, bookings can be made by telephone, the Coastfield’s website or booking engines such as PitchUp. Noteworthy of a mention, the prices, even in high season are good value in comparison to other sites in the locality.
