The longest trip ever undertaken in the UK, both in terms of miles and time away.
Day 1, from Sheffield to Daventry, a visit to Roadpro. Night stop.
Day 2, a short journey to the Camping and Caravanning Club, Clent Hills for a two night stay with R&R and cycling.
Day 4 – another short run to refuel at Tesco Telford, then forward to Oswestry for the night.
Day 5 – to Holyhead and two nights at Blackthorn Farm, journey via Llanddulas and beach parking for lunch and a cycle ride.
Day 6 – to Dublin onboard the Stena Superfast X
Day 7 – a scenic journey along the Welsh Coastline to Fishguard
Day 8 – to Rosslare on board the Stena Europe, the “old lady of the seas”
Day 9 – to Pembroke and the Windmill Hill Caravan Site
Day 10 – the pleasures of the Isle of Innishmore
Day 11 – to Wool, via Bath and four nights at Whitemead
Day 12 – to Poole and Guernsey on the HSC Condor Liberation
Day 14 – back to Guernsey on the fast craft with some choppy water
Day 15 – to the CCC Chertsey
Day 16 – to London
Day 17, R&R
Day 18 to Cambridge staying at the CCC revamped site.
Day 20 to Lincoln to view a Burtsner motorhome, but given the price tag and no “real” oven, that was a non starter.
